Grace Church invites you to come to our Annual Spring Tea Party!
This lively and fun-filled event takes place this coming Saturday, April 23rd from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Spring Tea Party has been an annual tradition at Grace Church in Scarborough for the past 5 years, and evolved from a long rooted tradition for 8+ years from St. Crispin Anglican Church, one of the four founding parishes of Grace Church.
This is an all-ages event, with entertainment for both children and adults. As in past years, this wonderful spring event includes a fashion show of hats and games with prizes, a silent auction and live entertainment. This year, we are excited to announce that the event is featuring a live band known as “Caribbean Sound”, and a magic show with balloons presented by “Poppy the Clown”. Children are also encouraged to participate in the hat parade, with categories and special prizes for them. Light refreshments – including coffee, tea, sandwiches and sweets – will be served, and are included in your ticket price.
Admission for tickets: $15 for adults, children 12 and under are FREE!
Veronica Malcolm, the coordinator and creator of this fantastic spring event, was asked why she enjoys this event so much and why it is an event you should not miss. She replied:
“This event has something for everyone – young and old alike. It is a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with your friends and family, to meet new people and perhaps make new friends, to laugh and have a great time together. It is an event I look forward to every year.”
