“Marriage is a gift of God and a means of God’s grace.”
So reads part of the introduction to the marriage service in the Book of Alternative Services of the Anglican Church of Canada.
If you are planning on being married, congratulations!
Many people wish to affirm that the marriage covenant is a sacred one and that God has a place in their marriage. If this describes you, we are happy to explore the possibility of a wedding ceremony at Grace Church. The clergy welcome the opportunity to help prepare couples for the sacrament of marriage.
At least one of the couple must be baptized in any Christian tradition. Clergy are authorized to participate in marriage services held at locations other than the church. At least sixty days’ notice is normally required for couples to undertake preparation in the form of educational sessions and meetings with the Priest.
