Margaret Reid has been an active member of the Church of the Nativity Malvern since 1986 and has contributed fully to the Ministry there in that time.
Her Ministry at the Church of the Nativity has been quite transformative. Her involvement in the Women’s Ministry served to deepen her spiritual walk with the Lord. She later served in several other areas of Church life, including Stewardship, Lay Reading, Church School and more recently Lay Anointing.
She took on the role of a Warden in the 1990s and began to learn how difficult and challenging Church life could be, learning the behind the scenes work that upheld the Church and especially serving as Warden through a very difficult time when the new building was being constructed.
Margaret’s volunteer ministry with the Diocese began in 2016 as a Parish Selection Coach, working with other Coaches to support Parishes in their discerning process as they seek to hire a new Priest. In the past year, she has also been a panel member for the Reach Grant.
She is very excited to be working with Grace Church and pray that this will be a fruitful engagement.
